I am a graphic designer and sometimes crafty type living and working on the homelands of the Songhees and Esquimalt People, also known as Victoria, British Columbia. I started out in art school thinking I was going to be a sculptor. I realized that I enjoyed placing words on to flat surfaces a whole lot more, so I took a design class and never looked back. After attending NSCAD University in Haifax Nova Scotia, I made a move back to the west coast where I have had some amazing design opportunities and survived a few humbling ones.
Once and while people ask “If you could have any other job in the whole world what would it be?” I always try to think of something clever, but the truth is there isn’t anything else I would rather be doing. Shapes, colours and a good concept; design is process but one that rarely takes the same path twice.
